Characterization of Nano-Engineering Systems
Enrico Milani is Full Professor of Physics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.
He started his research activity in magneto-optics and then in high Tc superconductivity (HTCS).
After, he worked on the deposition of artificial single crystal diamond films. Using these he then
developed radiation (UV, X-rays) and particle (neutrons, alpha) detectors and dosimeters. Some of
them are presently in use at JET. He is author of about 160 publications in international journals.
