Sylwia Baluta, Ph.D. was graduated in 2014 in the field of Biotechnology and Medicinal Chemistry (2015) at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
In 2021 she received her Ph.D. at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemistry. Her scientific interests include biosensors for neurotransmitters, hormones and viruses determination, based on electrochemical and optical measurements using nanoparticles (e.g. graphene quantum dots (GQDs) and semi-conductive polymers. She is co-author of 16 publications, 7 patents and several patent declarations. Moreover, she improved her skills during the research internships in Food for Future Technologies company (previously Fish Farm Solutions) and in University of Sassari, Italy, in prof. Maria Pilo research group.
